End of Life Announcement for Entando 4.x

On March 14, 2022 Entando announced that Entando 4.x is entering End of Service Life according to the policy defined here: https://www.entando.com/page/en/eosl .

After January 1, 2023, Premium Support will no longer be available to Entando customers using Entando 4.x. Which means, Entando will no longer be releasing patches or updates for Entando 4.x.

In April 2022, Entando 7 is expected to be Generally Available (GA), which will provide Entando 4.x customers with multiple platforms to upgrade to, including 5.x, 6.x, and soon Entando 7. We recommend customers on Entando 4.x begin planning their Entando upgrade as soon as possible.

Entando subscriptions provide enterprise-grade support within two distinct phases defined as

  • Premium Support Phase : The initial phase of support is for 3 years after the release of a specific major version
  • Extended Support Phase : Customers are able to purchase extended support for up to 3 additional years.

During the Premium Support Phase, a specific version of Entando is supported for (3) years after its First Ship Date. During the Premium Support Phase, customers will be provided:

  • Access to Software Update Repository: Customers have access to the Entando software repository for bug fixes, security patches, service packs and version updates.
  • Security Assurance: Entando provides security alerts and security patches, ensuring customers have the most current security capabilities.
  • Production Support: Customers are also provided access to phone, web and email support for production and development environments for bug fix requests and configuration questions .
  • Developer Support: Entando will also provide support to developers for complex questions not related to bug-fix issues.
